Summer Program 2023

We offer a fun and educationally enriching summer program from July 3 to September 1, 2023. The summer program will be hosted at the
Forest Hills American Legion, 107-15 Metropolitan Ave, Forest Hills, NY 11375

The program is divided into weekly themes consisting of an innovative mix of academics, art, swim, sports, activities and outdoor fun in the sun!

Daily Activity



Drop off and Breakfast: 8:30 am

Academics / Mini Trips / Outdoor play

Lunch: 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm



Swimming, Outdoor Fun & Fitness, Field Trips

Themed Activity, Dance, Drama, Sports, Language

Pick up: 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm


Nutritious catered lunch and snacks provided.

Staff members are certified in first aid and CPR.


Weekly Theme

Summer academics will cover topics including Reading, Creative Writing, Math, Critical Thinking, Public Speaking and theme-based lesson plans.

Week 2: Art Explosion

Week 3: S.T.E.A.M.

Week 4: Broadway Stars

Week 5: Animal Kingdom

Week 6: Mad Scientist

Week 7: Calling all Superheroes

Week 8: Around the World

Week 9: Tournaments / Games Week


Pool days are twice per week for children 6 years and older. Children under 6 will remain with the local explorers group.


Field trips tentatively include Medieval Times, The Drawing Center, The museum of Moving Image, Botanical Gardens, Hayden Planetarium, The Hall of Science, The Zoo, Splish-Splash Water Park and the Cinema for a rainy day! Children under 6 will remain local for mini trips except the Medieval Times and Splish-Splash Water Park which are privately chartered.

Mon-Fri: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Early drop off: 7:30 AM
Additional fee of $50 per week / per child


Late pick up: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Additional fee of $50 per week / per child


3 or 4 days per week arrangements are available upon request.

**We use public transportation. Major trips will be shuttled by bus.




Program price includes healthy, catered snacks, lunches and a t-shirt.


10% sibling discount available.

A registration fee of $75.00 per-child (NON-REFUNDABLE)


Camp fee must be paid in full before or on the deadline date to be eligible for discounted prices.
